[Update] After being out for my celebration dinner with Gonte and gotten the good news that my dad and his girl (lives approx 6-9 hours away) comes down to celebrate this weekend (at a restaurant of my choice, how can I ever decide?) and with the good thoughts on the matter from wonderful people I've started to realise that I'm happy for actually finishing and passing my bachelor's thesis.

The initial disappointment is wearing off. It also dawned on me that I was one of two (was supposed to be 10) who finished before the deadline despite constant hospital visits during the whole time of writing. So yay, go me! :w00t:

The food btw:

:star: Earlier today :star:
I'm both sad and happy right now.

In Sweden we have 3 marks, not passed (IG), passed (G) and best: well passed (VG) and I didn't really reach VG, I got a G (+) which in reality on paper means I got G on my bachelor's thesis and thus in this whole course this semester (which is three courses and one you can't get more than passed on).

Reasoning: I didn't anchor it enough in cultural science, cultural politics and culture management and I didn't specify what kind of culture I meant (aesthetic or anthropology) which I thought was obvious when I wrote about art communties :(

Other than that he had only good stuff to say really and I defended it well and critiqued the other well.

I did really hope for VG since I thought I had done a massive job and done it well. I feel I anchored it well. Sigh.

Good thing: I can send in my papers to get my degree now and in 6-8 weeks (according to web page) I will get papers home with my degree. Oh I know, Sweden's university system is such an anti climax when you end. :noes:

Every time I hope for it go well it doesn't and those courses I don't care about or thought was boring I ace.

Rant over.
